Privacy Policy
Peyara Remote Mouse
Effective date: October 24, 2026
Introduction
Peyara Remote Mouse ("we", "our", or "us") is an open-source application that lets your phone control your computer over your local network. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the mobile app and the desktop server (together, "the App").
Information we collect
We do not collect, transmit or store any personally identifiable information. There is no account, no sign-up and no analytics service in the App.
Everything the App handles stays on your devices and on your local network:
- Touchpad, keyboard and media input
- Clipboard text you choose to send between devices
- Your saved server list and connection details
- Your Deck layouts and imported presets
Stream Deck presets
Deck presets are bundled with the app and published in the open peyara-actions repository. Presets describe shortcuts and actions only; they do not contain personal data. Your custom decks and layout choices are stored locally on your phone.
Third-party services
The App does not integrate with third-party services that collect user information. The App Store and Google Play may process download and crash information under their own privacy policies.
Log data
We do not collect log data from your device. Diagnostic logs shown by the desktop server stay on your computer.
Cookies
The App does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies.
Security
All device-to-device traffic runs over your local Wi-Fi network. We use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
The App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are effective immediately when posted on this page; please review it periodically.
