Free Stream Deck on your phone

Peyara includes a free Stream Deck: use your phone as a shortcut pad for your PC, with the right keys for the app in focus. No extra hardware, no subscription.

Open the Deck

  1. Connect to a desktop server as described in Get Started.
  2. On the touchpad screen, tap the Deck icon in the toolbar.
  3. The Deck opens on the app that is currently focused on your desktop.

You can leave the Deck with the back control and return to the touchpad at any time. The connection stays live.

Presets and auto-follow

The Deck ships with hundreds of ready-made presets for popular desktop apps — design tools, editors, browsers, media players and more.

  • Auto-follow: switch apps on your PC and the Deck switches with you.
  • Pick manually: choose an app yourself when you don't want the Deck to follow focus.

Every key fires a shortcut or a macro on the desktop, so a tap replaces a keyboard combo you would otherwise reach for.

Find the action you need

Open the action search inside a deck and type what you want to do. Results are scoped to the current app's preset, so a search for "export" shows export actions — not every action in the library.

Actions can be multi-selected, so you can add a whole group in one pass instead of tapping one by one.

Build your own layout

Decks are editable per app:

  • Add and remove actions from the current app preset
  • Set the number of columns to change key size and density
  • Drag to reorder keys until the layout matches your muscle memory
  • Import your own selection of actions and keep it as your deck for that app

Your layout and imported selection are persisted on the device, so your deck survives app restarts and reconnects. No account or cloud sync is involved.

Missing a preset for your app?

All presets live in the open peyara-actions repo. To add an app, open a pull request with a new preset following the existing format. Once merged and shipped, it appears in the Deck for everyone.

Tips

  • The Deck works through the same local Wi-Fi connection as the touchpad — no internet required.
  • If a key does nothing, confirm the target app is focused and that it is the app the deck was built for.
  • Shortcuts that need OS-level permissions (for example, controlling other apps on macOS) still rely on the same Accessibility permission as the rest of Peyara.
